Great Dives in Jupiter – 19 Mar 21

Three members dove with Jupiter Dive Center (JDC) yesterday (19 Mar 21). We dove on Dive Sites “Lemon Drop” and “Scarface”. For the 3d time this season, “Lemon Drop” has lived up to it’s name. We had 5-6 VERY friendly Lemon Sharks that swam in and out of our group, greeting all divers. They were even bumping into us as they passed. Very Calm and very Curious. Scarface had it s normal ragne of reef fish with Angelfish, Trumpetfish, Grunts, Rock Beauties, a Goliath Grouper and 2-3 nursesharks, Etc. Surpisingly, no Turtles this time, or Caribbean reefsharks this time…… Our next Jupiter dive is on 29 March with Kyalami Charters. So far, 7-8 of us are slotted for that dive. If you want to join us, Call Bill Cox at (561) 814-3483.

Great Dives in Jupiter on 5 Feb

Five members dove with Jupiter Dive Center in Jupiter on 5 Feb. It was a 3-Tank Dive and the dives were GREAT. We dove on Dive Sites “Lemon Drop”, Scarface” and “Loggerhead”. Lemon Drop definitely lived up to its name with a total of 11 Sharks: 6 Lemon Sharks and 5 Bullsharks. It surprised us that the Bulls and Lemons were swimming around us together. On the other sites, there were a good number of Loggerhead Turtles, Hawksbills, Moray Eels, 1 Goliath Grouper and the full range of reef fish. Loggerhead also lived up to its name. Air Temp was 70 Deg, Water Temp was 71-72 Deg. A great day of diving. We have additional Jupiter Dives coming up on 10 Feb (Kyalami) and 22 Feb (JDC). If you want to join us check the Event Schedule to see the links and phone numbers to sign up.
